NEWBIE OVERVIEW : MAC Studio moisture tint - LIGHT

Hay Chickaaaa's
I REALLY WANTED TO POST THIS THE OTHER DAY (BUT WANTED TO SEE HOW IT WOULD HOLD UP )
I bought one of the moisturisers on my list! I KNOW i put myself on a spending ban and look how it all turned out :( but i surpose in hindsight its okay because i needed a new foundation (didn't want to get foundation though) so i tried something a little different which I'am not used to..
I went with the MAC first just because i love MAC, and i know this one has a matte finish and that is what I'am after :)
And plus i only paid $28 dollars because i had a $20 gift card so it would out no that bad.

p.s this is just going to be an overview and a review will come at a later stage :)

I don't know for some reason i really love the packaging of this

Whilst i was in myer i walked around to KIT - which sells smash box and had a quick look at the smash box camera ready, and i actually really like the look of it but then i decided i would just stick with the mac one as in the future i'll be defiantly getting that one, but i also had a look at the laura mercier one and I've heard it's amazing but once again, i've decided that I was just going to stick the mac one as i will buy that off the internet as it is cheaper.

First Impression-
In mac i tried it on the back of my wrist light - it looked okay kinda of pale the texture was nice on the back of my hand it didn't look like that sheer coverage.
But i wanted to make sure i was getting the right colour, and the lady said your defiantly LIGHT so i thought what the heck.
i got home tried it on my face and it very light and ( but of course I'am not used to that).

I've tried it for about a week and it has a good staying power but i do apply powder and primer so that could be it.
I also feel as if i could go through this product really easily as it feels very liquidy, I'am still trying to find different ways of apply, and using it.

Overall: Great product still looking for a better one though

NEWBIE: IMPASSIONED MAC LIPSTICK

You know what sucks being sick! now that its may here in australia its getting colder at night and it seems like everyone is sick at the moment, and i think thats how i got it. Also i don't think going out last night would have helped.
Anyway getting on with the post, i purchased a new lippy yippie ( well my mummy did for me) which was really nice of her, i was excepting to use my 6 back to MAC's to buy it but i wasn't aware that you can't use them with new collections which sucks.

I had been looking for impassioned for AGES! but my Mac store kept telling me it was Pro which i don't know..
The reason i wanted this colour is because it looks so pretty, i would said its in the middle of a hot pink with maybe a coral tinge maybe a watermelon colour.. ( I'am the worst had explain things)
It an Amplified creme which is my favourite formula, so it means it really creamy and pigmented and glides on the lips.

To be honest, i don't know if this colour is exactly what i was after, i've only wore it once so i guess ill still have to work with it, but girl about town is defiantly still my fave!

REVIEW:MAC OIL CONTROL ... DRUGSTORE CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE!

 Hay Beautiful,

Lately i have run out of my oil control which was very devastating as i have had this bottle for about 10 months which is actually really good!
As i have moderate oily skin (as i wear a fringe forehead produces quite a bit of oil) Oil control has been the life saver, obviously not getting rid of all the oil but most of it.
I realised it was a life saver when i had not been using it this whole week and i was getting quite oily, which i was devastated about.
As i was planning to repurchase it, i look and its quite expensive and i didn't know if i wanted to spend that as my dad is going to europe in a few months so he will pick some up for me.

Any way, as you would have seen from previous post i have been looking for a tint moisturiser,
well i did a bit of research and i saw nivea had one which i was aware of but i had tried a previous tinted moisturiser of theres and it was absolutely terrible the reason could have also been because i was young and i didn't no what i was apply.. hehe.

When searching Nivea's products funny enough i came across control shine and put it on my wish list, then i decided i would go see if i still had the tinted moisturiser by nivea whilst looking around in my cupboards i found CONTROL SHINE! which i was so confused about because i didn't even know i used it, haha it must be so old but oh well. PS I RECOMMENDED EVERYONE GO CLEAN THERE CUPBOARDS BECAUSE YOU DONT NO WHAT BEAUTY ITEAMS YOU WILL FIND!

I tested a bit on the back of my wrist to just see if i would react to it or if the texture had changed but no signs of that appeared.

I feel as if both of theses have sort of the same formula, there not much of oil control there more of mattifying and making the skin softer.
The nivea smells, kinda bad like the sea to be honest but you can get used to it, and it doesn't smell once on the skin , the oil control has a scent to it to but is much more beautiful.

As i haven't been trying the nivea out again for that long, I'am just gonna get a brief review and then report back at a later stage..

at this stage control shine has NOT broken me out, and of course oil control never did.

I am pretty sure that theses are seriously similar products, just the oil control maybe be just a tad better.
but still the control shine is pretty good for its price $9.78 (or something close)

I don't think id recommend either of these for VERY VERY VERY OILY skin as it may only work for say a few hours, as i only have minimal oily skin and i still see oil coming though (natural).

Control shine: has a thick but light consistence and blends in really well into the skin leaving it soft.
Oil Control: has a Silky light consistence and like the control shine blending very well into the skin leaving the skin still wet and then drying into a matte finish.

Overall I'am going to keep using control shine in till i repurchase oil control.

Tinted Moisturiser Mayhem

Hay guys, lately i've decided that I'am going to stop wearing foundation everyday only because i feel that after getting heavy breakouts for the past month and half that i need to maybe start thinking more about what I'am putting on my skin ( I only used to get break out sometimes or only 1 or 2).

I've decided that i'am just going to wear a tinted moisturiser.. if only it was that easy.. i have to find the perfect one first.

I have google, tumblr'd, youtubed and theses are a few that i'am going to have a little look at.

MAC studio moisture Tint
Laura Mercier - Oil Free tinted moisturiser
Bobbi Brown - Oil Free tinted moisturiser
Smashbox-Camera Ready BB cream
Nars- Pure radiant tinted moisturiser
Dermalogica- Treatment foundation or Sheer tint
Nude by Nature - tinted moisturiser
Nivea Day cream
Formula 10.0.6 -Tinted Moisturizer

So here are the candidates, and shortly soon or maybe in a few months you will be seeing the review of theses beautiful products, I'am not sure yet if i want to try the drugstore products first just cause there the cheaps or just go straight ahead to the high end, as i really want to try them all..

PLEASE if any of you guys have any suggestions PLEASE!

Let me know as I'am struggling a bit of which to get.

Just to let you no: i have oily to combination skin, i have a fair skin type and i want something with a little more coverage.. Thanks guys

WISHLIST #8

Hay lovelies, can't believe it's wednesday already, like the weeks are going to quick!

I recently did a post about the natio produce i got in my beauty bag, which i really love so i decided i would try some more of there products.
I've been suffering from redness for a while specially, on my nose area i think its cause i have sensitive skin and i've tried the green concealer from maybelline which is really good, but you can go through that like no tomorrow, so i want to see if  a. this one is better or just the same b. obviously you get more for your money

I've been looking for a new primer after i've been trying to find the perfect one for me, i wantt try more natural products as i don't want to be clogging my pores while I'am at school as there is really no point for a lot of makeup.

I do have fix + but just because i like sprays and stuff i thought id give this a look.

I have heard absoulty heaps about this product, it seems the blogging community has gone crazy specially people from england. They have said that it helps clear skin and reduce reddness, which is what i really need.

like i said before, at school i'am sick of wearing a full thick foundation, and just want to give my face a little breath of air, I'am really trying to find a tinted moisturiser that doesn't cause me to look like a grease ball or an orange ommpa loopa, i've heard good reviews about this so i think ill give it a go but it is quite expensive.

Like i said before I'am looking for a new primer and this one is oil free and is very popular so I'am going to try this one out, but once again ober expensive!

Even though I'am not much of a fan of benefit after past disappointment, i've actually heard that this primer/minimiser actually works so why not give it a try as i like trying pore fighting products
I'am very  scared about getting wrinkles around my eyes i no stupid haha but, even though i'am still young, i would really like to prevent it as long as possible also I've been seeing my makeup crinkle
in the crackles so i thought maybe this contour gel can stop some of them lines.
This is meant to be one of the greatest scrubs that help with blemishes, i really want to give this of course a try.

Just a update on - Natio Mineral Pressed Powder

Hay girrrrrrrl,

I don't no if you will remember, but remember when i got that beauty bag from priceline? well i got this mineral pressed powder by Natio (australian brand) in it, and lately I've been trying to save my M.A.C mineralise skin finish because i can't be bother forking out $$$ on it at the moment, as i'am doing a 'Save the may month' haha
excepting i'am going to be having to do a sneaky shop to mac as they bought out sets with IMPASSIONED IN IT! and you know i've been wanting that forever..! but i have 6 empties so ill be getting it for free anyway..
Anywho getting back on track, I've been really liking it, its in medium tan which i have never thought id buy cause i would have thought it would had been to dark for me but actually it gave me that right amount of colour to make sure i don't look too dark but that nice glowing look, rather then looking ghostly.
I also like this powder a lot just because when you put it on it give my skin the smooth look and doesn't give me that powdery feeling.

After deciding that the product was actually good i decided to look at other products of there range, an i can tell you when priceline has a deal ill be there like no tomorrow! some things are reasonable as others are a tad bit pricey.

Iam waiting to see how long this product will last me as i go through compact products very quickly, then ill decided if i can be bothered paying the money to buy it again, as i like things that last a fair while.

If your ever at a place they sell natio, give them a try they use very natural products :)

p.s i will do a Review on this product, or maybe there range when i buy some more.

Priceline/Drugstore Wishlist # 7

Hay sweeticheeks, this weeks wishlist has a theme of course, this week being Priceline if you don't know what priceline is its sort of like a drugstore or "boots".

I haven't tried any of the formula 10.06 brand but I've been looking at theses products for a while now and want to get them

I really want to try a créme blush as i have only every used powder ones, so i would like to try this one

As I've been trying to find a new primer,  even though i love the matte by MAC but i think its breaking me out which is really sad :( wah

Olay have been around for years obviously, but i really want to try one of there moisturises as they seem to be very good and it helps fights ageing
I've been wanting to try one of these lip pencil/ lipsticks what ever they are called for ages because they seem compacted and would apply nicely on the lips, this isn't the only brand that makes them but there cheap so why not.
I have been having quite a bit of trouble trying to get rid of my acne lately, i found this and it has witch hazel in it which is good for getting rid of acne hopefully it will work when i try it

I've had this dermablend in my wishlist for ages and i really need to build up the courage to go by it
I really want to try a new foundation such as this one, it seems to be everyones favourite, but once again at $39 I would hope that i don't get to attached

I really want to try this scrub because it has salicylic acid which helps controls acne and pores which is good

I've had this in so many posts, just need to buy it as i like to make sure i have every piece of makeup off
