REVIEW:MAC OIL CONTROL ... DRUGSTORE CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE!

 Hay Beautiful,

Lately i have run out of my oil control which was very devastating as i have had this bottle for about 10 months which is actually really good!
As i have moderate oily skin (as i wear a fringe forehead produces quite a bit of oil) Oil control has been the life saver, obviously not getting rid of all the oil but most of it.
I realised it was a life saver when i had not been using it this whole week and i was getting quite oily, which i was devastated about.
As i was planning to repurchase it, i look and its quite expensive and i didn't know if i wanted to spend that as my dad is going to europe in a few months so he will pick some up for me.

Any way, as you would have seen from previous post i have been looking for a tint moisturiser,
well i did a bit of research and i saw nivea had one which i was aware of but i had tried a previous tinted moisturiser of theres and it was absolutely terrible the reason could have also been because i was young and i didn't no what i was apply.. hehe.

When searching Nivea's products funny enough i came across control shine and put it on my wish list, then i decided i would go see if i still had the tinted moisturiser by nivea whilst looking around in my cupboards i found CONTROL SHINE! which i was so confused about because i didn't even know i used it, haha it must be so old but oh well. PS I RECOMMENDED EVERYONE GO CLEAN THERE CUPBOARDS BECAUSE YOU DONT NO WHAT BEAUTY ITEAMS YOU WILL FIND!

I tested a bit on the back of my wrist to just see if i would react to it or if the texture had changed but no signs of that appeared.

I feel as if both of theses have sort of the same formula, there not much of oil control there more of mattifying and making the skin softer.
The nivea smells, kinda bad like the sea to be honest but you can get used to it, and it doesn't smell once on the skin , the oil control has a scent to it to but is much more beautiful.

As i haven't been trying the nivea out again for that long, I'am just gonna get a brief review and then report back at a later stage..

at this stage control shine has NOT broken me out, and of course oil control never did.

I am pretty sure that theses are seriously similar products, just the oil control maybe be just a tad better.
but still the control shine is pretty good for its price $9.78 (or something close)

I don't think id recommend either of these for VERY VERY VERY OILY skin as it may only work for say a few hours, as i only have minimal oily skin and i still see oil coming though (natural).

Control shine: has a thick but light consistence and blends in really well into the skin leaving it soft.
Oil Control: has a Silky light consistence and like the control shine blending very well into the skin leaving the skin still wet and then drying into a matte finish.

Overall I'am going to keep using control shine in till i repurchase oil control.

Over and out
